Partner KPIs and Performance Measurement

Purpose

This page defines how Eprenz measures whether the partner system is working.

The previous tracking page defines what needs to be captured now.

This KPI page defines how that tracked information should be measured across:

  • partner activity
  • partner placement
  • founder relevance
  • member engagement
  • revenue
  • strategic value
  • partner performance decisions

The goal is not to overbuild a dashboard immediately.

The goal is to know whether partners are active, relevant, visible, useful, and producing value.

KPI Logic

  A[Partner Status] --> B[Placement]
  B --> C[Member Engagement]
  C --> D[Conversion or Referral]
  D --> E[Revenue or Strategic Value]
  E --> F[Performance Review]
F --> G[Keep, Improve, Convert, Pause, or Offboard]

KPI Categories

KPI Category What It Measures
Activity KPIs whether partner work is moving forward
Placement KPIs whether partners are appearing in the ecosystem
Relevance KPIs whether partners match founder problems, stages, countries, and knowledge topics
Engagement KPIs whether members interact with partner placements
Conversion KPIs whether engagement becomes signups, referrals, demos, or purchases
Revenue KPIs whether partners produce direct or indirect revenue
Strategic Value KPIs whether partners support content, events, GFIS, network, or brand credibility
Review KPIs whether partners should be kept, improved, converted, paused, or offboarded

1. Partner Activity KPIs

Activity KPIs show whether the partner system is being managed.

KPI What It Means
Total partners reviewed number of partners reviewed from the current list
Partners with clear status partners marked active, pending, paused, offboarded, needs review, etc.
Partners with assigned owner partners with a responsible internal owner
Partners with next action partners with a clear next step
Partners moved out of unknown status partners no longer sitting in unclear status
Partners completed onboarding partners that moved from partial or pending to complete
Partners offboarded or paused partners removed from active use when not useful

Why this matters

If partners are not being reviewed, owned, and moved forward, the partner system will stay messy.

2. Partner Placement KPIs

Placement KPIs show whether approved partners are actually being used.

KPI What It Means
Partners placed in OS partners shown inside OS surfaces
Partners placed in Mighty partners connected to knowledge content
Partners placed on Partner Page partners available in the partner directory
Partners placed in events partners used in workshops, roundtables, or office hours
Partners placed in GFIS partners connected to summit sponsorship, speaking, or activation
Partners placed in social media partners used in co-announcements or educational posts
Partners placed in email follow-up partners sent after survey or Compass responses
Partners with more than one placement partners active across multiple surfaces

Why this matters

A partner can be approved and still create no value if it is not placed anywhere.

3. Partner Relevance KPIs

Relevance KPIs show whether partners fit the founder and the Eprenz strategy.

KPI What It Means
Partners with founder problem tag partners mapped to a defined founder problem
Partners with top category and subcategory partners mapped to the knowledge taxonomy
Partners with stage fit partners mapped to Start, Grow, Profit, Exit, or multiple stages
Partners with country fit partners with supported countries or regions identified
Partners with user-facing rationale partners with a clear reason why Eprenz is showing them
High-relevance partners partners that solve common founder problems and can be placed soon
Low-relevance partners partners with weak founder fit or unclear use

Why this matters

Relevance protects the founder experience.

The partner system should not become a vendor directory.

4. Member Engagement KPIs

Engagement KPIs show whether members are interacting with partner placements.

KPI What It Means
Partner placement views number of times a partner placement is seen
Partner link clicks number of clicks on partner links
Email clicks clicks from partner-related email follow-up
Event registrations registrations for partner-related events
Event attendance attendance at partner sessions
Social engagement reactions, comments, shares, reposts, or collaboration engagement
Member inquiries direct questions, replies, or requests for help
Advisor referrals manual referrals made by Eprenz team or advisors

Why this matters

Engagement shows whether members are responding to the partner placement.

Low engagement may mean the partner is not relevant, the placement is weak, or the content context is missing.

5. Conversion KPIs

Conversion KPIs show whether engagement becomes action.

KPI What It Means
Partner signups members who sign up through partner link or code
Qualified leads members who express clear interest
Partner conversations calls, demos, consults, or introductions
Purchases or paid conversions members who purchase or become customers
Referral confirmations partner confirms a referred member
Manual conversions conversions logged manually when no dashboard exists
Conversion rate clicks or inquiries that become signups, meetings, or purchases

Why this matters

Clicks alone are not enough.

The system should track whether partner engagement leads to useful action.

6. Revenue KPIs

Revenue KPIs show whether partners produce direct or indirect financial value.

KPI What It Means
Affiliate revenue commission from partner signups or purchases
Referral revenue payment from referred customers or leads
Sponsorship revenue event, GFIS, campaign, or ecosystem sponsorship revenue
Revenue share partner revenue split, if applicable
Revenue pending expected but not yet received revenue
Revenue received confirmed revenue received
Revenue by partner revenue produced by each partner
Revenue by surface revenue from OS, Mighty, events, GFIS, social, email, or Partner Page

Why this matters

Revenue tracking shows which partner relationships are financially productive.

Some partners may still be valuable without immediate revenue, but that should be tracked separately as strategic value.

7. Strategic Value KPIs

Strategic value KPIs measure non-cash value.

KPI What It Means
Knowledge-supported partners partners connected to guides, checklists, or resources
Event-supported partners partners that teach, host, sponsor, or activate events
GFIS-supported partners partners involved in summit sponsorship, sessions, or activations
Network-supported partners partners used for introductions, rooms, or expert access
Social-supported partners partners used in co-announcements or public education
Brand-value partners partners that improve credibility or trust
Advisor-supported partners partners used in high-trust referrals

Why this matters

Not every partner should be judged only by immediate revenue.

Some partners support trust, content, events, network value, or strategic positioning.

8. Review and Decision KPIs

Review KPIs show whether the partner system is improving over time.

KPI What It Means
Partners reviewed this month partners reviewed during the period
Partners kept partners that continue active placement
Partners improved partners that were updated or repositioned
Partners converted partners moved into stronger relationship type
Partners paused partners temporarily hidden
Partners offboarded partners removed from active use
Partners needing review partners still unclear
Average time to OS-ready time from intake to ready placement
Average time to placement time from approval to ecosystem placement

Why this matters

The system should not only add partners.

It should improve the partner ecosystem by keeping useful partners and removing weak or unclear ones.

Minimum KPI Set for Now

Start with a simple KPI set before building a full dashboard.

KPI Why It Matters
Number of partners reviewed shows cleanup progress
Number of partners with clear status reduces unclear partner list
Number of OS-ready partners shows usable partner supply
Number of partners placed shows activation
Number of partners mapped to founder problems shows problem-first structure
Number of partners with tracking method supports performance measurement
Number of partner clicks or inquiries shows member engagement
Number of partner conversions or referrals shows action
Revenue received or pending shows financial value
Partners kept, improved, converted, paused, offboarded shows review decisions

Simple Monthly Partner Scorecard

Use this as the first reporting view.

Metric This Month Notes
Partners reviewed
Partners moved out of unknown status
Partners OS-ready
Partners placed
Partner placements live
Partner clicks or inquiries
Partner-related event registrations
Partner conversions or referrals
Revenue received
Revenue pending
Partners converted
Partners paused or offboarded

Partner Performance Decision Rule

Use KPI results to decide what happens next.

KPI Signal Decision
High relevance, high engagement, trackable value Keep and expand placement
High relevance, low engagement Improve content or placement
High engagement, low conversion Review offer or partner fit
Low engagement, low relevance Pause or offboard
Strong strategic value, low revenue Keep as strategic partner
Strong GFIS or event value Review for sponsor or event partner conversion
Missing tracking but strong fit Keep, but mark Needs Tracking
Missing country clarity Mark Needs Country Review
No owner or next action Assign owner or pause

Final Rule

KPIs should help Eprenz decide what to do next.

The first KPI system should answer:

  • Are partners being reviewed?
  • Are partners mapped to real founder problems?
  • Are partners being placed?
  • Are members engaging?
  • Are partners producing revenue or strategic value?
  • Which partners should be kept, improved, converted, paused, or offboarded?

Do not build complex reporting before the partner system is active.

Start with decision-making KPIs first.
